Billy serves as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer practicing out of GWB’s Greenville, South Carolina, office.  He is also a member of the firm’s business and commercial litigation, product’s liability, toxic and mass torts, and drug and medical device teams. For more than two decades, Billy has defended a wide variety of business disputes, as well as mass tort and catastrophic injury claims, in both federal and state courts.

As an accomplished litigator and an integral member of the firm’s complex litigation practice, Billy has extensive experience defending a wide range of products liability and mass tort claims.  In his practice, he regularly represents clients in the following industries:

As part of his practice, Billy is frequently called upon to advise clients during the emergency response to catastrophic accidents. He has significant experience in leading all aspects of the post-accident investigation.

As GWB’s Chief Executive Officer, Billy is also responsible for the executive leadership of the firm’s four offices in North and South Carolina. He regularly consults with the firm’s attorneys and provides strategic oversight and direction to GWB’s 23 major practice areas.  In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Billy strives to ensure that every client is receiving exceptional quality and service from all of the attorneys at the firm.
