Biography
Deborah Casey Brown is a partner in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina, office. Her primary law practices are employment and workers’ compensation defense. As a certified employment specialist by the South Carolina Supreme Court, Debbie counsels various employers in a broad array of employment issues including:
- Disciplinary Decisions
- Title VII Claims
- ADA Claims
- FMLA Claims
- FLSA and South Carolina Wage Payment Claims
- Retaliatory Discharge Claims
- Workers’ Compensation Claims
Debbie represents clients in many industries including law firms, financial institutions, home healthcare, assisted living facilities, manufacturing facilities, hotels, restaurants and golf courses.
She also conducts seminars in both employment law and workers’ compensation for other Bar members and clients. She previously served as the program chair for the Defense Research Institute’s Employment Law Seminar where she spoke and served as a moderator.
