Biography
Emily M. White is an associate in the firm’s Charleston office, where she focuses her practice on complex litigation, with experience representing general contractors and subcontractors in commercial and residential construction-related disputes.
During law school, Emily gained broad legal experience through clerkships with several Charleston law firms, where she worked in areas including in-house counsel, family law, defense litigation, and general litigation. Her responsibilities included drafting legal documents, conducting research, reviewing discovery, and maintaining regular communication with clients and insurance adjusters. She also participated in mediations, depositions, real estate closings, and advisory meetings.
Having worked with both plaintiff and defense firms, Emily brings a well-rounded perspective and strategic approach to case development and resolution.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and exploring all the lowcountry has to offer.
