Daniel B. White



Daniel B. White is a partner in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina, office. His law practice, for more than 30 years, involves complex litigation, products liability, class actions, drug and medical device and toxic and mass torts litigation. He currently serves as national coordinating and trial counsel for a large products manufacturer. Notably, Daniel has served as national, regional and local counsel in more than 14 multidistrict litigations.

Daniel has a record of service to the legal profession. He served as president of the South Carolina Bar in 2005-2006, and was chair of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates from 2000-2002. He served on the South Carolina Board of Governors from 1992-1995 and from 2000-2008. He was the South Carolina Bar Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates from 2010-2014.

Daniel is a member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the Litigation Counsel of America (state co-chair). Daniel is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He served as first lieutenant in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Daniel’s extensive experience and expertise is recognized by numerous publications. The U.S. News & World Report ranks Daniel in Best Lawyers for five litigation categories. Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business recognizes Daniel as a leading lawyer in commercial litigation since 2009. Furthermore, Daniel has been included in South Carolina Super Lawyers, a Thomas Reuters publication, since its inception.
