Christine C. Ormand

Biography

Chrissie Ormand is a partner in the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina Office.  Her practice is focused on worker’s compensation defense.  For almost a decade, Chrissie has been representing insurance carriers, employers, third-party administrators, and claims servicing agencies.  She is experienced in handling claims at all stages of the litigation process.

Chrissie’s legal experience has allowed her to defend matters involving many industries and types of work-related injuries, such as:

• Occupational Exposure and Diseases
• Orthopedic and Spinal Injuries
• Repetitive Trauma
• Psychological Overlay Injuries

Prior to focusing on workers’ compensation defense, Chrissie gained legal experience handling complex litigation in mass torts and real estate law.  Chrissie is thorough, hard-working, and eager to reach the best possible outcomes for her clients on each matter she handles.  Chrissie provides her clients with high-quality client service and strives to be someone clients can come to with any problem so that they can work together to protect the client’s legal interests.
