Biography
Caitlin Creswick Heyward is an attorney in the firm’s Columbia, South Carolina, office.
Caitlin has extensive experience in handling all aspects of litigation, including depositions, document disclosure, motion and appellate court practice and trial in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining GWB, Caitlin had the privilege of serving as a law clerk to J. Michelle Childs, circuit judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. More than ten years of appellate and trial litigation experience working in the public and private sectors has given Caitlin the knowledge and experience to provide essential support to clients facing complex legal issues. In her private practice, Caitlin has worked extensively with victims of fraud and unlawful behavior, tackled complex commercial construction issues, and provided invaluable outside general counsel services to small businesses.
Caitlin is an avid reader, and she enjoys scuba diving and learning about new cultures through travel.
