Biography

Haley Tanner is a litigation attorney practicing in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office.  Her practice includes all aspects of civil litigation at both the state and federal level.

Haley received her undergraduate degree from the University of St Andrews, in Scotland, and earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law, in Chapel Hill.  Prior to entering private practice, Haley worked as a term law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence R. Leonard, United States Magistrate Judge, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

In law school, Haley gained additional experience through internships with the Orange County District Attorney and Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of North Carolina.  Prior to law school, Haley spent two years with AmeriCorps serving with legal aid organizations in Massachusetts and Montana.

Haley’s outside interests include hiking, travel, golf, and spending time with friends and family.  Haley works to create the best solution for each client.
