Lindsay A. Joyner Appointed to South Carolina Access to Justice Commission

[Columbia, S.C. – June 10, 2026] Gallivan White Boyd (GWB) is honored to share that Lindsay A. Joyner has been appointed by Chief Justice John W. Kittredge to the South Carolina Access to Justice (SCATJ) Commission.

Joyner has been a part of GWB since 2012 in the firm’s Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina offices where she focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, lender liability, professional negligence and high net-worth trusts and estates litigation and has presented matters in these practice areas before both state and federal courts.

The SCATJ was created by the South Carolina Supreme Court in January of 2007 in recognition of the need to expand access to civil legal assistance for people of low income and modest means. The Commission is made up of judges, lawyers, legislators, court employees, and community leaders from across the state who work to bridge the “justice gap” in South Carolina by assessing essential civil legal needs, fostering collaboration, and identifying innovative solutions. Joyner will be serving a three-year term as the South Carolina Bar officer member.

Among her professional affiliations, Joyner is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar Association, IR Global, International Association of Defense Counsel, James L. Petigru Inn of Court, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association and South Carolina Women Lawyers Association.
