Chris Kelly announced as President of The Transportation Lawyers Association

Charlotte, N.C. – May 17, 2022

Gallivan White Boyd is pleased to announce that Christopher M. Kelly, who also serves as the Partner in Charge of GWB’s Charlotte office and on GWB’s Executive Committee, has been elected as President of The Transportation Lawyers Association (“TLA”).

Founded in 1937, TLA is an independent bar association of approximately 900 members who are in-house, government, and private practice attorneys and practice primarily in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Whether in advice, litigation, or regulatory assistance, members assist providers and commercial users of domestic and international logistics and transportation services. As commercial transportation is a specialized area of the law, TLA is dedicated to keeping its members ahead of the constant changes governing all aspects of the supply chain and passenger travel. With commitment to excellence in continuing legal education, and a long tradition of collegiality and exchange of ideas, TLA provides a collaborative resource for lawyers seeking to maximize the quality of the legal services they provide and enhance their professional lives.

Chris focuses his practice on the field of Commercial Transportation, including motor carrier and railroad law. His association with the TLA has benefited his practice immensely, and he looks forward to giving back to the association that has given so much to him.
