Biography

Kyle M. Knox is an associate in the firm’s Charlotte, NC office, where he focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation. Kyle brings a practical, results-driven approach to every case, informed by his prior courtroom experience and strong foundation in advocacy.

Kyle previously worked in private practice handling matters for employers and insurers before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Prior to that, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York. In that role, he managed a demanding criminal caseload, regularly appeared in court for hearings and grand jury proceedings, and worked closely with law enforcement and victims throughout all stages of prosecution. Kyle handled hundreds of criminal cases ranging across different areas, which included vehicular homicide, attempted murder, weapons possession, robbery, burglary, and serious assault cases. This experience sharpened his litigation skills and reinforced his commitment to thorough preparation and effective representation.

Kyle earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in Central Islip, NY, receiving multiple CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in law school. His academic achievements reflect both his dedication to the study of law and his ability to excel in complex and challenging subjects.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Kyle relocated to North Carolina in 2022, where he continues to build his legal practice while serving clients with professionalism and care. He understands the importance of clear communication, strategic thinking, and dependable advocacy, and he strives to exceed client expectations in every matter he handles.

Outside of the office, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family at home in Fort Mill, South Carolina. He is married to his wife, Stacie, and is the proud father of their son, Mason. He is also a devoted dog owner to Poppy, a loveable Golden-Retriever mix.  When he is not working or spending time with his family, Kyle enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, golfing, and playing guitar.
