Biography
Alexander G. Mende is an associate based in our Columbia office, focusing on representing clients in all matters concerning design and construction as well as business and commercial litigation matters.
Before joining GWB, Alex gained invaluable experience serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Mark Hayes, II, of the South Carolina Circuit Court, Seventh Judicial Circuit. His law school career was marked by active leadership and involvement; he served as President of the Student Bar Association, was a student member of the prestigious John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court and contributed to the 2020 Dean Search Committee.
A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Alex loves spending his free time hanging out with his family, golfing and traveling.
