Biography

Rylie Ray is an associate attorney in the Charlotte, North Carolina office, where she focuses her practice on complex litigation, including business and commercial litigation, commercial transportation, products liability, professional negligence, and torts and personal injury. Before joining GWB, Rylie worked for a civil litigation firm in Nashville, Tennessee, where she handled general liability, premises liability, and workers’ compensation matters.

Rylie earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law, where she received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Family Law Practicum and Mediation. Rylie was also a member of the Belmont College of Law Criminal Law Journal, and her note was chosen for publication and was published in Volume V, titled “Plea Bargains and Mandatory Minimums: ‘Go Directly to Jail. Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200’”.

Prior to attending law school, Rylie attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a degree in public relations.

In her free time, Rylie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Sutton and Blue, while cheering on the Tar Heels.
