Biography

Rebecca S. Greene is a litigation attorney practicing in the firm’s Charleston, South Carolina office. Her practice includes several aspects of civil litigation at both the state and federal level, including handling matters related to personal injury, general civil litigation, and corporate transactions.

Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her juris doctor from Charleston School of Law. After graduation from law school, Rebecca entered private practice and gained practical legal experience in the Charleston area. Specifically, Rebecca had the opportunity to act as corporate or general counsel for clients with specific business operation needs, such as assisting companies in navigating asset purchases and sales, drafting corporate governance documents, handling secured transactions, and providing guidance on corporate tax-related matters. As a result, she has been responsible for researching complex legal issues, drafting motions, memoranda, complaints, counterclaims, and appellate briefs in various business and general civil litigation cases.

Rebecca believes a strong team approach to matters is vitally important, especially as it relates to collaboration, trust, and communication.  She seeks to foster that team approach for her clients.

Aside from practicing law, Rebecca enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially if the UNC Tar Heels are involved. She also values time with her family for lake weekends in North Carolina, traveling, and taking advantage of the ever-evolving food scene in and around Charleston.
