As team member Mills Gallivan explains, GWB's Workers' Compensation Team concentrates its practice exclusively on the defense of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies. Workers compensation defense litigation matters are handled by our law firm on a statewide basis. Job-related injury claims are handled from the initial investigation and counseling stage, and team members provide advice and recommendations on decisions regarding compensability, risk/benefit analysis and management, cost assessment and containment, and medical provider recommendations and management.

Additionally, Workers Compensation Team members have developed extensive negotiation skills, which are offered to clients in both alternative dispute resolution and other negotiation settings.
