Background
Ashleigh Ward has been dedicated to trial advocacy since high school, and she competed in national trial competitions while at Furman University and the University of Richmond. While in law school, she participated in activities such as moot court and Law Review to enrich her legal writing skills. Prior to law school, Ward taught fifth grade in Washington, D.C., as part of Teach for America's 2003 Corps. While in law school, Ward served as a teaching assistant to a first-year law skills class. When she is away from work, Ward coaches Furman University's mock trial teams.
