Alternative Dispute Resolution Team

Bridge - MedThe Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, headed by Mills Gallivan, provides mediation and arbitration services to parties involved in disputes as an alternative to litigation and trial. Members of the team provide these services to parties who participate on a voluntary basis or through the South Carolina court-ordered ADR program. The team’s ultimate goal is to assist disputing parties in reaching a mutually acceptable settlement. This structured mediation process is focused on effective communication and achieving a timely agreement. Members of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team will facilitate continued negotiations until a resolution is reached.

The team members of GWB’s ADR practice have a wealth of experience in an array of practice areas that include personal injury litigation, business and commercial litigation, high-stakes complex litigation, and workers’ compensation. Team members have received extensive training in their particular field and have been certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court. As a result of this training and experience, the ADR team brings to the table a unique skill-set that allows them to help parties navigate the strengths and weaknesses of their claims; therefore, highlighting the benefits of resolving high stakes cases through mediation.
