C. WILLIAM MCGEENAMED AS MANAGING SHAREHOLDER
OF GALLIVAN, WHITE & BOYD, P.A.

Greenville, SC - The law firm of Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. announced the election of C. WILLIAM (Billy) MCGEE as Managing Shareholder.
Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. is a Greenville, South Carolina business law and litigation firm with 43 attorneys. During 2008 the firm is celebrating 60 years of service to the community and its clients.
McGee has been a shareholder with Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. since 2000 and has been employed with the firm since 1992. While serving as the Managing Shareholder of the firm, McGee will continue to practice in the areas of products liability, drug and medical device litigation, and mass tort litigation. In addition to his law practice, McGee also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greenville Humane Society. He is a member of the Greenville County Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association and is a current member of Leadership Greenville Class 34. McGee received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1989, where he also received his J.D in 1992.
H. Mills Gallivan, who has just completed his second term as Managing Shareholder, said: "It has been an honor to serve as Managing Shareholder for the last four years. The firm is prospering and I am confident that Billy will lead us to even greater successes."
Gallivan will continue his significant involvement in community and professional organizations. He will also be returning to his alternative dispute resolution practice where he emphasizes the use of negotiation, mediation and arbitration to resolve complex legal problems.
