Luanne Runge Begins Term as Chair of Greenville Chamber of Commerce

Gallivan, White & Boyd is pleased to announce that firm shareholder Luanne Runge began her term as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce on January 1, 2013.  She follows former Chamber Chair Mike Riordan, President of Greenville Hospital System.  Ms. Runge states, “We are very grateful for Mike’s service over the last year.  He has provided excellent leadership and completed many noteworthy initiatives for the Greenville business community.”

Ms. Runge has been an active member since joining the Chamber. She has served as Chair of Leadership Greenville in 2004, Vice-chair of Education & Workforce in 2006, four years as the Chamber’s General Counsel (2007-2010), and Vice-chair of Organization Excellence in 2011. Ms. Runge was honored in 2006 by the Chamber with the Chairman’s Award for her leadership and commitment to the Chamber and the Greenville community.

Ms. Runge is an accomplished attorney with over 20 years of litigation and trial experience.  She concentrates her practice on business and commercial law and healthcare law.  Ms. Runge is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, American Health Lawyers Association and South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association. She is listed in the prestigious Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation. Managing Partner C.
