Background
Leigha Blackwell Sink is a member of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group. Prior to joining GWB's Charlotte office, Leigha served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of South Carolina.
Leigha received her Bachelors of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communications Studies from the University of North Caroilna at Chapel Hill. She earned her Juris
Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was a member of the Journal of Law & Education and leader in the Student Bar Association.
During law school, Leigha served as a law clerk for the South Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee. Following her graduation from USC, Leigha clerked for the Honorable Edgar W. Dickson in Orangeburg, S.C. Having returned to her hometown of Charlotte, Leigha and her husband Jonathan are actively engaged members of First Baptist Church and the community at large.
