Background
Laura Jordan is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and the Business and Commercial Law Practice Group. Having served as staff attorney for two federal court judges, Jordan has a unique combination of experience in private practice litigation and government service. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, she was Developmental Editor of the Alabama Law Review and swing advocate for the National Moot Court Team, for which she was awarded the honor of Best Oral Advocate. Jordan was also inducted into the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. Prior to law school, Jordan graduated cum laude, with High Honors in English, from Vanderbilt University, where she served as Vice-President of the Vanderbilt Honor Council, was a nationally-ranked member of the Vanderbilt Debate Team, and was inducted into Mortar Board honor society.
