Background
Laura Simons is a native of Holly Hill, South Carolina. She graduated magna cum laude from Charleston School of Law in 2008, where she served as Associate Articles Editor of the Charleston Law Review and was the recipient of the CALI award in Judging. She received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University in English and Journalism, and served as a staff writer and copy editor for the school’s newspaper, The Tiger. It was during her time at Clemson that Simons developed a close attention to detail and was able to put her love of writing into practice.
