Background
Katie Phipps, an of counsel of the firm, concentrates on workers' compensation within GWB's Workplace Practices Group. Phipps is a Spartanburg native who received a degree in political science from Furman University. She earned her law degree at the University of South Carolina in 2003 and gained invaluable experience as an assistant solicitor prior to joining GWB in 2004. She is an active of Buncombe Street Methodist Church.
