Grayson Smith Named Co-Chairperson of the Richland County Bar’s Young Lawyers Division
GWB attorney Grayson Smith has been named co-chairperson of the Richland County Bar’s Young Lawyers Division. In this role, Grayson will work to engage young attorneys in the bar’s activities, such as:
- promoting effective communications between members and the judiciary
- fostering friendships among members through social activities and events
- planning activities that promote education, community awareness, volunteerism and civic responsibility
Grayson is a member of GWB’s Business and Commercial Practice Group and Insurance Practice Group, where he focuses on personal injury litigation, construction litigation, and insurance fraud. Prior to joining GWB, Grayson clerked for the Honorable Thomas A. Russo and practiced criminal defense in the 12th Circuit Public Defender’s Office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Clemson University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006.
Since 1960 the Richland County Bar has been promoting common business and professional interests of lawyers practicing and/or residing in Richland County, South Carolina. The association works to enhance the overall experience of practicing law in Richland County through its numerous social events, professional networking opportunities, and community outreach programs. The Richland County Bar is the largest voluntary Bar in South Carolina with a membership of over 1,900 attorneys.
