Background

Debbie Brown is a member of GWB's Workplace Practices Group. She is certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a specialist in Employment and Labor Law, and focuses her practice on the defense of employment and workers' compensation cases. Brown also conducts seminars in both employment law and workers' compensation for other Bar members and clients. She previously served as Program Chair for DRI's Employment Law Seminar where she spoke and served as a moderator. As a native of upstate South Carolina, Brown has had the opportunity to represent the local and regional business community with their increasing employment and workers' compensation needs. Brown has also given back to the community by volunteering for 20 years with the United Way of Greenville County where she is currently immediate past Chair of the Financial Stability Council.
