Background
As far as Billy McGee can remember, he wanted to be a lawyer. GWB's Managing Shareholder and Laurens, South Carolina native says he was fascinated as a youth by what lawyers did and how they did it. "I definitely made a wise career decision," McGee says of his focus on products liability and drug and medical device litigation. "I have been fortunate to have found both success and enjoyment in what I do. The complexity of our practice presents challenges on a daily basis, and I really enjoy the problem-solving aspects of it. And our clients seem to appreciate what we do for them." McGee is a cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of South Carolina Law Review and Associate Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Education.
