Michelle Yarbrough is an experienced litigation attorney and shareholder in the firm’s Greenville office.  Her practice is primarily geared toward the defense of workers’ compensation matters on the behalf of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies; however, she also practices law in the transportation, torts, and personal injury practice areas.

Throughout Michelle’s 15 plus years of practicing law, she has represented a variety of clients in different industries and resolved countless numbers of cases on their behalf.  Some of the industries Michelle often represents include:

  • Commercial Transportation
  • Utilities
  • Communications

Michelle is widely known by colleagues and clients alike for her attention to detail. She thoroughly investigates all aspects of a case before suggesting a course of action. For example, Michelle recently tried a complicated workers’ compensation matter involving three separate accidents. She represented the insurance carriers in the last two of those accidents. Michelle diligently investigated the plaintiff’s claims and uncovered factual and medical evidence to support the defense.  As a result, Michelle was able to obtain a favorable ruling eliminating her client’s exposure for disability and medical benefits in excess of five hundred thousand dollars.

In addition to being detail oriented, Michelle places an emphasis on client service. She is responsive to client inquiries and works to understand exactly what the client’s expectations are for the matter at hand. Michelle then formulates a plan to exceed those expectations.
