Chris is May 2018 graduate of The University of South Carolina School of Law. While attending law school, Chris gained legal experience through various clerkships, internships and externships where he assisted in various areas ranging from drafting Pleadings and Discovery to aiding in week-long trials. He also prepared legal memoranda pertaining to the Rules of Evidence, HIPPA violations, and Discovery violations and sanctions. Chris served the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control by providing research related to both the health and environmental branches, prepared memoranda for pending probate issues, and contributed to a field guide for DHEC employees. Chris is most proud of his time serving as an extern under Fifth Circuit Judge Jocelyn Newman where he was able to observe and contribute in a variety of areas ranging from homicide cases and State Grand Jury matters to Post-Conviction Relief and research for matters of first impression under South Carolina law.
