Biography

Blakely M. Bellamy is an associate in GWB’s Charleston, South Carolina, office.  Blakely is a member of the firm’s Workplace Practices Group focusing her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies. Blakely offers valuable and unique insight into the defense and litigation of workers’ compensation claims as a result of her previous experience as a claimant’s attorney.  She is experienced in handles claims at all stages of the litigation process, from initial evaluation through appeal.  Additionally, Blakely has developed a diverse set of skills that has allowed her to effectively represent clients in the following industries:
