Gallivan, White and Boyd, P.A. is a leading litigation firm founded more than six decades ago in Greenville, SC. Our team of attorneys serve the legal community in the Carolinas from three offices: Greenville and Columbia, S.C. and Charlotte, N.C. We are proud of our history of growth and the results our attorneys have achieved for our clients over the years. Like our clients, we are focused on the future and concerned about being stronger tomorrow than we are today. First and foremost, we are trial attorneys and a defense-oriented general litigation firm. We bring extensive litigation and trial experience to the table. The firm is organized as a Professional Association led by a managing shareholder and executive committee. The 64 lawyers and 77 support staff that make up our firm operate within four major groups—litigation, business and commercial law, insurance practice and workplace practices. Each group is further organized into teams of lawyers who stay abreast of the latest developments—legal, social and political—that affect their specific clients. We encourage and practice collaboration among teams and groups to enhance our knowledge base and resources. Within these major practice groups we have several core areas of competency,
including commercial
transportation litigation, healthcare
litigation, toxic and mass torts, products
liability, corporate
planning, and construction
litigation. Additionally, our lawyers have considerable experience
handling class actions, mass torts and other complex, high-stakes litigation
involving multiple parties and causes of action. While our focus continues to be trial work, our scope and capabilities are greater
than ever.
